Fluorescently labelled PEG molecular weight markers.

By applying Shinsei Chemical's unique single-structure polyethylene glycol synthesis technology, a single-structure PEG molecular weight marker with no molecular weight distribution is provided.

Polyethylene glycol itself has high ionic strength and can be detected with high sensitivity by LC/MS, but fluorescent labelling of the ends enables even more sensitive analysis.


The terminal hydroxyl group can be converted to a highly reactive functional group such as an amino group or carboxyl group, enabling the binding of various commercially available dyes and fluorescent substances.
