Polypropylene / polyoxetane (PPG) linkers
Shinsei Chemical established a synthesis method for polyoxetane. The synthetic method for polyethylene glycol (PEG) was used, but different know-how was also invested.
We have succeeded in synthesising and isolating up to n=14 using our unique synthetic method. Higher molecular weights can be synthesised as required.
As it is slightly more hydrophobic than PEG, it is more difficult to purify and isolate in the reversed phase as n= increases, requiring different know-how to that of PEG.
Linkages with PEG and hybrid structures can also be synthesised.
We have experience in synthesising structures with different repeating units, such as polybutylene glycol
(linear poly-THF).
