Polypropylene / polyoxetane (PPG) linkers
Shinsei Chemical established a synthesis method for polyoxetane. The synthetic method for polyethylene glycol (PEG) was used, but different know-how was also invested.
- We have succeeded in synthesising and isolating up to n=14 using our unique synthetic method. Higher molecular weights can be synthesised as required.
- As it is slightly more hydrophobic than PEG, it is more difficult to purify and isolate in the reversed phase as n= increases, requiring different know-how to that of PEG.
- Linkages with PEG and hybrid structures can also be synthesised.
- We have experience in synthesising structures with different repeating units, such as polybutylene glycol
(linear poly-THF).
